Transition
The dawn awoke to a blind sky and
I could not see beyond fear
Bonded to my past
I could not joust with even a
single ray of light…
In a moment of trance
a distant tinkling shimmered softly
into my consciousness
Without thought I followed shapes of sound
to an epicentre of silence
Here I remained for eons
Until one day, the universe rained
drops of love upon my face
No longer do I desire
No longer do I seek security
At last, I live.
